When I was a younger man and living at home, the
cat would often come and
sleep on my bed. I think she was in
love with the mink blanket that I use in
winter. Hours would pass during the day and all you would hear is a low rumble emanating from the bed, she'd be in there kneading away and
drooling all over the blanket. Being the
nice guy I am, I'd go to bed and do my very best not to disturb "
Thunderfoot" from her
peaceful slumber.
After scrunching myself up into the corner of my queen size bed and making sure not to disturb the cat, invariably she'd jump up off the bed and go bug mum instead. So I'd get to spread out and enjoy.
Moral of the story? Be patient, eventually they leave.
Of course, it helps if you're an "active sleeper" and the cat is forced to leave or be squished as you toss and turn during dreams about live nude lesbians.
