Level 2 -- Monday, August 9, 2004

I am not as active anymore recently - although I have only been here for a bit over a month. In a matter of days I managed to submit a large amount of writing, writing which now I look back upon and wonder how I managed to do it.

I haven't been able to node recently, a combination of insomnia and a heavy workload has meant that I simply haven't had the time to node, nor have I actually been able to think of anything worthwhile noding. Hopefully, once I have sorted out some of the more pressing matters at work as well as sorted out my sleeping habits and all, I make more of a contribution to the database.

Well, I have been a member of this community for long enough that I no longer need advice every 10 minutes or so. In fact, I actually give people advice now - I don't know whether it is good advice per se, but it is still advice!

Aside from that, I dont really know what you are doing in my homenode. While you are here, I will take the opportunity to point you to which of my writeups I am proud of doing...

Breasts, otters, creativity and greed was the first major piece I wrote specifically for E2. I am extremely happy with the response so far; so happy in fact, I ended up noding more of my observations on Singaporean society. You can find the other things I have written on Singapore in my daylogs, as well as here.

The Darkness Inside is another piece I wrote specifically for noding on E2. I have recieved no feedback on it, and it is one of my lowest-rep writeups. However, I am proud of it nonetheless because it represents the first piece of fiction I have written because I actually wanted to. I wrote it for the sake of writing it, and for that reason I am happy with it.

Aside from that, I am always looking for any comments on what I have written; so please feel free to send me a /msg.
