| April 2003 update: Well, I have quitted smoking pot alone and in a systematically way (ie: everyday). It's been a long time since I have added anything to the database (lack of time), but I visit E2 from time to time and I try to update/repair/correct my nodes (nodegardening). Professionally, now I have converted myself in a energy resources expert journalist, as ever, through self study and many doubts. Have a nice day! /me echa de menos a Sensei naked_ape is Daniel. I live in Barcelona (that's Spain, but also Catalonia, oh, never mind...). I'm 34 years old. I discovered Everything through random-but-not-so-random surfing, and I became rapidly addicted, how weird! I'm a lucky person, I basically do what I like: first and foremost, I'm paid to write and to think, that alone means a lot for me. My speciality is videogames and new media: I wrote about games, sometimes as a part of research, and sometimes reviews for computer magazines. I am also currently working in a TV program called 3xl.net, I write TV scripts (again about videogames) and I am the forums and chats moderator for the portal that is part of 3xl.net. I am also a contributor of en.red.ando, a website specialized in networks and its inhabitants. They offer online courses, and I am also a tutor in a Master of Digital Communication, and I am doing some training to became the coordinator of a series of baraza's. I've been done a lot of things in my life, I've worked as a waiter, shoemaker (because my father is an artisan that still makes shoes a mano), hospital attendant, farmer, woodcutter, salesman, and P.R in the music business (Rock stars memories). During all of this time, I've developed a very close relationship with computers, and a profound love for everything about science and philosophy of science. When I was a child, I wanted to be an astronaut or a diver in the Calypso. I turned to be particularly bad at mathematics (and why not, at everything that I disliked) so I decided to pursue my academic goals in humanities. I ended in the Faculty of Philosophy of Barcelona, but to my shame, I left it before ending the first year. Well, at least some of my desires were fulfilled! During some weekends (specially in the warm seasons) I work as a professional diver, acting as a guide an assistant instructor in Aiguablava, a small coastal village in the Costa Brava. On the other hand, I finally returned to the university, as an expert (this shows you how bad is turning university). I am currently working in a project with the UPC (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya) that consists in an online course. I'll tell you just its title: "Immersion in the Videogames Culture". Sounds cool, eh? Well, now let's talk about my noding habits. As you may have noticed, English is not my mother tongue, so I tend to write few and very carefully studied nodes, although, lately, I've been experiencing with random nodding. I also have a very busy live. This means that, as it has happened with all the drugs I like, I have to restrain myself of using Everything too much when it's crunch time. In spite of that, I try to log in almost once a day and not let a single week pass without adding something worthwhile to the database. I tend to node exclusively factual nodes, but from time to time I feel the need to write some silly or humorous nodes, apart from the ever present song lyric. ah, I forgot to tell you: I am a bookmark whore! and a pothead
