Winner of the Kingsley Darling Prize for Scripture Knowledge. Knows all the words to I Stole a Bride by Hefner. Never been in a riot. Until January 2003, my mission drive was to "To find and vote down every Magic: The Gathering node", but it looks like that's been taken care of with their mass culling: yay. So now I'm planning a few new ideas. I want to node more about Scottish history, literature, thought, thoughtlessness, etc. I plan to write about the British cultural institution that is EastEnders, from legends like June Brown (Dot Cotton, now Dot Branning), to freaks and idiots like Adam Woodyatt (Ian Beale). I'm always looking for odd things in natural history, science or pop culture. Plus, there are always films and books and bands, and much to do in the visual arts, with many notable artists like Helen Chadwick, Leon Kossoff, and Giorgione unnoded. I'm making a start by writing about pretty much every art show I visit. We also need a better mongoose write-up. Heroes: Peter Kropotkin, Michael Bakunin, Lord Byron, Gerald Winstanley, Mary Brooksbank, Lynne Ramsey, Antonin Artaud, Emma Goldman, Tommy Sheridan, Eudora Welty, William Godwin, Nestor Makhno, Gina Birch and The Raincoats, Todd Haynes, Andre Breton, Michael Moorcock, Half Man Half Biscuit, Kathleen Hanna, Roger Corman, David Hume, Sylvia Plath, Selene Nyx. Villains: Paul Dacre, David Blunkett, Tom Cruise, Andrew Neil, George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Margaret Thatcher, Jack Straw, Robbie Williams, Martin Amis, Carol Vorderman, Henry James, Origen, St. Paul, T. D. Lysenko, Jim Davidson, Michael Winner. Nodes to be written (by someone): pine marten, Helen Chadwick, Shane Richie, Michael Elphick, The Thought Gang, Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid, David Thompson. Stuart. |
