Currently live in a cozy home with 1 bedroom, kitchen/living room, and 1 bath, made of a cement-hard mixture of sand and saliva (the saliva was mine, but since I'm not very handy, I had to have the work done by contractors). Recently discovered that although my parents are, to all appearances, normal humans, I'm almost certainly a goblin. For clarity's sake:
goblin : n. an ugly or grotesque sprite that is mischievous and sometimes evil and malicious. (Webster's ninth new collegiate dictionary)

I don't know if I was found, formally adopted, or if I'm simply a random mutation. My folks treat me as their own flesh-and-blood, and since I can pass for human, I suspect random mutation. I'm kinda scared to examine the whole issue too closely, though.
A side note on my user name. Wanted to come up with a user name really quick because I quickly saw that everything was my kind of game. Came up with whereami because it is the way I feel a lot of the time and it stuck in my head as the name of an effect (essentially a magick spell) in the player's guide for mage the ascension, a rpg. I don't actually play these things but I love to read the player's guides & c, which probably makes me more nerdy than the people who actually play them. My second choice would have been dontcme, another fictional effect with a cool name.
