Johnny Rosenblatt Stadium, located in
Omaha, Nebraska, opened up 1948 and has hosted the
NCAA College World Series since 1964. The
capacity's listed as 24,000 or 25,000 (including
standing-room tickets).
The stadium is also the home field of the Omaha Royals (the Kansas City Royals' AAA team in the Pacific Coast League; thanks to kiladogg for the correction/update on the current name). It is currently the largest stadium (capacity-wise) in minor league baseball.
The stadium was originally called Omaha Municipal Stadium, before being renamed in 1964 after Omaha mayor Johnny Rosenblatt, who was instrumental in bringing minor league baseball to the city.
The field dimensions from home plate are 332 feet to the foul poles, 370 feet to the power alleys (as of 2002 College World Series) and 408 feet to dead center.
