A business trip sounds like a good idea, especially a trip abroad. You plan to explore foreign cities, see how your school language studies take hold and plan to use gestures to get by, or failing that, speak English loudly and slowly as you wander around taking in the sights.
It's not like this. You don't travel to another city, you travel to another city's hotel. You don't sleep that first night as the bed is not your own. You work all day. You return to the hotel and discover that you don't have the energy to explore. You order room service. You raid the mini bar. You channel hop on the television looking for free porn. You lead a solitary live.
Do not be jealous of your colleagues racking up their air miles. It's not fun, it's work.
