Born in Greenville, SC in 1959. Grew up around lot's of music (my mother taught piano and my step father was a radio DJ). Attended the University of South Carolina where I studied Media Arts and the effects of psychedelics upon my personal psyche. I later dropped out to find myself. Got in to computers instead. Worked for Michelin Tire Corporation for too many fucking years (spit). Left and moved to Atlanta, GA to work for Cygnus Solutions. Two and a half years later Red Hat and Cygnus merged. Red Hat closed the Atlanta office and I moved to Portland, OR to work for Gobe Software.
