Canada is one of the largest countries in the world and since 90% of our population is concentrated on our southern border, there is a large amount of relatively untouched wilderness available for parks. In Canada around 225 000 square kilometers is protected in the National Park system. On top of this is the many Provincial Parks (Algonquin Provincial Park in Ontario alone is 7,725 square km) and private camping sites across the country. Even with all of this space the beauty of these parks attracts many visitors from all over the world, so when planning a vacation/adventure it's best to book months ahead.
