Some
kids, but only some, are
bright enough to pull off what is described in this book. Many
teenagers are too
short-sighted and not
self-motivated enough to do it; I certainly wasn't. But, for those
special few, this book is a
holy volume.
It describes in some detail how to "quit (high) school and get a real life and education". It is a very inspiring idea, but you have to really want to do it. It describes the high-falutin' ideals of "unschooling" as well as the nuts and bolts of what to do and where to go. But again, you have to really want to do it. It's a risk. But do you wanna die without any scars on you?
If high school is hell and you know you can do better, read this book. It will change your life. Grace Llewellyn wants you to be a better person.
