Being curious 26 years later, I looked this word up and was greeted with Wiktionary's list of Finnish palindromes, where it's tied with another 25-letter word. Saippuakuppinippukauppias, according to Wiktionary, means 'soap cup batch trader'. Given that household items tend to be produced in bulk and sold in box stores, you could say places like Ikea and Walmart qualify for the title. Going by a stricter definition of the term, though, it would probably only apply to the middlemen and salespeople of manufacturers that actually make soap cups.
There were also a couple other words that merited attention:
